Dojo Visit to Scott Lombardo & Bill Miller
Road trip! Sensei Gene Smith and I took a road trip up to Mass. to visit Sensei Lombardo and Miller's dojo on the 21st. Their students are strong Isshinryu karatkas and we had a ball. They handled many of the drills thrown at them and still looked for more! Congrads to Lombardo & Miller for their promotion to 5th Dan from Grand Master Temple.

American Isshinryu Mini Seminars
Grand Master Temple has for some time now been looking for methods to bring in revenue for all Isshinryu schools and mini seminars are an excellent method. Sensei Paul Kilduff of Oxford, NJ held his first mini seminar on July 31st. Mr. Temple and Mr. Fitzgerald provided two hours of kumite instruction to the attendees. Each of the attendees had an opportunity to get on the mat to spar with Mr. Temple. It was a great opportunity to say they sparred with a 9th Degree Black Belt!

Join AMERICAN ISSHINRYU, INC.
Don Nagle brought Isshinryu to the United States and the rest is history. No one has made such an impact as Mr. Nagle. He was known as the "LEGEND". His successor, Grand Master Ed McGrath has handed the task to Mr. Temple to bring all Isshinryu stylists together under the Don Nagle banner. As of April of this year, we have formed a new non profit corporation called, AMERCIAN ISSHINRYU, INC. Why American Isshinryu? Well, it's not where an idea is born as much as where it grows and as we all know, Isshinryu has grown within the United States far beyond anyone's expectations. Mr. Temple looks to continue the Nagle legacy along with Mr Passero's events and Hall of Fame recognitions, but more importantly, keep Isshinryu in the focus of the public. He wants to bring Isshinryu to the forefront of all martial arts by providing each Isshinryu dojo with all the guidance and assistance required to keep our doors open during these difficult financial times. We will be hosting a seminar in October called a Day With The Masters showcasing some of the finest of Don Nagle's Black Belts. If you are interested in joining a select group of martial artists, contact us now at 908-561-6464 and we will be in contact. Attend one of our meetings to see first hand our direction, focus and motivation to make Isshinryu the best of the best!
